$5 - Make a Difference
The Zonta Club of Lansing is in the midst of a Summer/Fall
Project that will be coming to an end on September 20th. Each member
was given a $5 bill with a note that said the following: "With
this $5 make a small difference in someone else's life. You have a
month to do good with it. Make a difference for a friend, a
stranger, anyone in need. You may add to it, but you MUST spend it
all. Spend it however you want, but come back to the September 20th
Program Meeting prepared to tell how YOU took a mere $5 bill and
helped another. Good luck and have fun with it. We can make a
difference in another's life."

Hats
Off to Lucile, Own a Piece of the Legacy
Live
Auction - Country Club of Lansing, October 12, 2010

This event was a tribute to Lucile Belen and a fundraiser for
some of her favorite charities. According to Lucile's own wishes,
her trademark hats were donated to Zonta to be used to raise money
to continue the good work of Zonta club of Lansing.
We thank Sherri Jones, Scott Dorer, and Fred Belen who so
graciously donated their time and talents to help Zonta Club of
Lansing make the evening the hug success that it was.
